Checkmate Experience is a new entertainment company based in Philadelphia, PA created by Eric “Mr. B Eazy” Wood. The company showcases significant experiences through dance vocabulary. The company is available for performances, workshops, music videos, educational assemblies and a variety of events. The company has performed at many events such as the Flair Dance Festival, Swerve the movie, Union Company Fundraiser For Mental Health and many more. Checkmate has also hosted multiple events such as the Checkmate Performance Battle, Jenkintown Showdown Performance Battle, Armageddon All Styles Dance Battle, Double Mayhem Dance Battle and more upcoming events.

Eric “Mr. B Eazy” Wood

Eric is an amazing dancer, choreographer, model and emcee from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Eric has been dancing since he was a child and professionally for over 10 years. He has even made an appearance on Vh1 Mob Wives, modeling the Uomo Moderno Italian clothing line and advertising for Vaspa Motor Scooters. He specializes in a variety of hip hop dance styles such as popping, locking and breaking. He is also the founder of Checkmate Experience where he leads and hosts events, performances and special functions for the company. He also has training in modern, contemporary and jazz dance. Eric has worked with a plethora of dance companies such as ContempraDance Theatre, Illstyle and Peace Productions. Eric has also competed and battled in the world’s biggest hip-hop competition called Hip Hop International located in Phoenix, Arizona. Currently, Eric is working with dance schools teaching children and adult dance classes. He has been a Emcee/party motivator at a plethora of events for over 8 years and bringing every party to life with his charismatic charm and unique dance style. He will bring the talent and energy and you bring the guests.
